The John H. Coatsworth Latin American History Fellowship was established to honor the legacy of John H. Coatsworth, the founding Director of the David Rockefeller Center and the former Monroe Gutman Professor of Latin American Affairs at Harvard University. This merit fellowship is open to doctoral students whose research focuses on topics related to Latin American history, with preference for, but not limited to, those in the History Department.
